Literally, shot in the dark - sorry for the images and lack of dimensions. I couldn't find any serial numbers or model name. I'm assuming it's American Parlor Stove around 1900...

She's real purty, I think - In upscale Hermosa Beach, swarming with decorators - if we're lucky. Any advice you can give is appreciated. When they pull it out tomorrow, I'll ask them to inspect it and send better images.

I don't know much about old stoves, but that certainly looks A.N! I bet it'd look gorgeous once it's done up a bit :)

    Hi,
I love the Japanese style doors. I can not spell the word I want to use instead of Japanese. Need more coffee.

Aesthetic? This stove is a beaut. Surely there is a marking on it somewhere.

Ditto on this lovely parlor stove. Wonder if it would be called Art Nouveau in style? Whether it is American or not, I don't know. It appears to have 4 doors. Not sure what all the doors are for. The bottom door is probably the ash pit door. Wonder if this is a wood and coal stove?

Have taken the liberty of editing the pic of the full stove. On brightening and zooming in, I can't see a name on the front. A maker's name will be needed to even guess at a value. Following are a few stove sites that may have help on evaluating it??? There are many more on the web.

It's on the cusp: if you look at the scrolls framing the panels, very Nouveau. But, the leaf and acanthus is aesthetic movement. All those grasses and ferns.

    Top door: Fuel-loading.

    Next down: Ventilation/airflow.

    Next down: ????

    Bottom: Ash.

    That's how I see it.
