At the risk of hogging this platform, I’m curious to know peoples thoughts on this. I’m shut in so trying to amuse myself. I’ve posted some of these on my Instagram account for people to weigh I. I’ve gotten some input from a few dealer clients that contradict each other. i have no idea why some of the photos uploaded sideways I can’t seem to correct it
This measures approximately 22” H. I’ve included a few details, the drawer joinery, etc.
    thanks for looking.

Dang, that is one cool piece! Looks like....mahogany? The dog has a deco look, the rest has Victorian motifs. So guessing that it is early 20th century Victorian revival.

Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful. If you are on your computer, rotate your photo around manually and save a copy. This will stop the flipping.

Is there something inside the canopy in the center?
Oh, I see it now, does that allow some rotation or something?

Owned by the Duchess of Gloucester c1820. This one is pretty special!
This is the closest I could find...
but it's just not the same.

Pretty etagere, Flip. Somehow this shaving stand almost looks steampunk.

Nothing moves, but the piece in the center really looks like a hose valve. It also reminds of of a carousel.

I think it is English and not American.
I'm thinking late 1890s, early 1900s. Wonder if they would have made something like this as late as the mid 1920s.
    King Tut's tomb and all.

Could be as late as the mid 1920s. The maker had extraordinary ability and was reasonably informed regarding artistic trends, yet was also somehow folky or naive. One of a kind!
