Sharp Cash Register ER-2531

    Hello,
    I've just obtained this cash register. When I plug it in, the display flickers EE8E every 3 seconds and I can't operate it. Does anyone have any direction for me?

    Does it take a roll of register paper and is there any in it??? That's about all I can offer!!

    I havent seen a register like that in 30 years. It very much looks like one I worked on in 1982 when I worked at a convenience store. You had SO many prices to remember !

    I also worked on a register like that back in the 90's.
    I messed up so many times, it was not funny.
