Hi,
The date of manufacturing is on the front of the movement. Unfortunately it means that you have to take the clock apart to read the date. To take out of the clock you MUST remove the hands first. Be VERY careful of removing that pin that is holding the hands on. Some times they fly off and is almost impossible to find them..

I have found that whenever working on something with small parts a cloth bed sheet on/over your "work surface" whether that is a counter top or a rug or a bare floor works well. In your case a white bed sheet would work well to help you find any of the black clock hands.

P.S. It (almost) goes without saying but . . . set up your project and work on it in the middle of the bed sheet.

 

No need to eviscerate it, it dates from the first decade of the 20th C give or take a few years. Could even be as late as the 1920s but it really does not matter because no-one buys or colects these things by date.

It is a dome topped possibly oak shelf clock of typical form, 8 day bell strike.
