    Hi all,
I picked up a pair of 'made to order' gloves/gauntlets and there is no size noted, so what measurements are needed to sell? I've included photos of across the top and bottom of hand, is that enough? Maybe finger length?
Anyone buy gloves on-line? What do you look for in size in listing?
    any thoughts appreciated.
    thanks for looking:)

i think the best you can do is small medium or large......
you'll get em back if they don't fit....i'd think.
    or
get yer pals to try them on , till they fit someone...and use them as a guide..

I've bought some by s,m,l type sizing so it might be good to get an idea where yours fit into those sizings. It also might be good to know if they're mens or womens.

To get a start, here is what the maker requests. Maybe you could find someone who the gloves fit and find out their size.

thanks for all the replies folks:)
sorry, I should have mentioned I've contacted them (Shawcross) but haven't heard anything back.
I did see what they want a customer to send for making the gloves which is why I thought a photo like the 2 I took would be okay. The only gloves I own are one size fits all for when it is cold here, so no help there.
I'm thinking they are ladies, they show them in a video on their FB page with a lady wearing them.
Guess I'll get some people to try them on:)

The design could go either way; those were meant for showing off.

    Very nice, cx.:)
I agree, that would be the best way. Width doesn't really work if you have small hands with average length fingers, like I do. I need a medium or 7, and would rather have them too wide for my hands than have the fingers stop halfway down my fingers.

I end up in mens' gloves; the ladies are never wide enough to get into. Those old formal ones are fuggedaboutit.
