    Seen At Estate Auction: Two Antique Advertising Jugs - What Are They Worth?

    Saw these at a recent auction and thought these were really neat pieces of history. They were in excellent condition with no major flaws that I could see. Some auction friends of my parents ended up winning the bid on them after a long bidding war. They ended up selling for nearly $700 for the pair which I though was high but not out of the realm of reason as quality items that likely don't show up very often.

    No idea. They're local pieces with no doubt a specialized audience.

    Maybe two people both wanted Grandma's whisky (or whatever) jugs and wouldn't stop bidding until they had them and money wasn't the point.
