Seeking help with this old alarm clock

    I cannot find any clocks marked Mascot inside wings, set in frosted glass with elephant design, note the stars around the top, any thoughts on this being politic related or just a design? Thanks! alarm.jpg alarm1.jpg alarm2.jpg

    I initially thought Lalique or Baccarat but it's not so refined. Knock-off company?

    You may have to remove the back to see who made the mechanism.

    The movement is a generic cheap basic thing, 1920s, 30s, so it is improbable that the glass is from any significant maker.

    I do not see any alarm function, it appears to be a simple timepiece, and possibly a 30 hour type. (Needs winding daily)

    Thanks, I have no idea why I thought this was an alarm clock... lol... can I blame too much nyquil?
