Seeking era and origin of 800 silver pendant.

Does anyone have thoughts of era and origin of this jewelry?

Not horribly old, but beyond that..nope. The chain looks 1960s/70s if that's any help.

 

It does look like the stuff sold during the 1970s-does-Victorian-ish time.
This is JMHO, I'm no expert on vintage jewelry. I'm simply going by my memory of that decade.

It looks like a 'coque de perle' pendant, but later than the usual 'coque de perle' jewellery.
My guess is first half of the 20th century, maybe 1920s, and German.

 

How's this? The back is concave and the front is convex.

 

Yes, it is a 'coque de perle', a polished part of a nautilus shell.
