    without hands-on inspection and unframing it is anybody's guess.
    a certain hint might be the official tax number showing that the authorities gave permission for them being used as "affiches" in public.

    Yup, in an auction situation there is always someone with more expendable cash. Thanks for commiserating with me. :)

    This was a small auction of a collectors accumulations. There were about 20 works from this series. I did my homework and these were the my targets.

    At my desk, I keep the fortune from a cookie, "You will find great fortunes in unexpected places".
