My Mother always called this a "butter butler" - is that the correct term? Her silver plate books are packed away. I keep second guessing myself on the maker's name, but I'm sure someone here will recognize exactly what it is right away. I'm not getting anything on google, so I'm getting something incorrect. Thanks, in advance!

Thank you! Not sure how I missed that since I'm seen Rogers a zillion times on many of her pieces...must be silver plate overload or my eyes :watching:

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

My favorite new term seen today! It's now gone ahead of ditty box, which I saw in the Militaria forum.
