    Hi Peggy,
    I had to laugh over the Sears catalogue. I bought one many moons ago to paper my bathroom. I was living in an 1880 house at the time. My wife at the time loved the catalogue and really liked the "wallpapering". Thanks for the memories.

    Peggy, I would LOVE to have it! Please put my name in the hat.

    (Years ago, I used to check a copy out of the library every couple of months, just to browse through it. Cool stuff!)

    Thanks so much!

    You are the first name in the hat SBSVC. :happy::happy::happy:

    There is some very cool things in there & I have used it a few times, but not enough to keep it around. I have been on a major purge out the last couple of weeks & this was unearthed this past weekend. I figured I would offer it here first & if no one wanted it I would add it to the thrift shop boxes next week. :p:p:p

    I found out a few weeks back that I am going to have to have my left knee fixed most likely some time around the middle of August. :grumpy::grumpy::grumpy: I am trying to get as much cleared out of here as I possibly can before then & I have been stock piling photos in Auctiva. I had my right knee done almost 2 years ago & I did not have time to get the photos done before I had the surgery.

    My usual routine is to photograph, measure & weigh the item. I then make notes about each item in a notebook so when I write out the listing all I need is that notebook. :D:D

    Thanks everyone!! :kiss::kiss::kiss:

    I really do wish the surgery was scheduled for much sooner. This one is the result of a complication from an arthroscopy for a torn meniscus. With the right one it was a gradual decline over many years, but with this one it has been accelerated to a few months.

    However, there is no way it is going to be any earlier so I am just going to move forward & do as much as possible before it happens. :p:p:p

    Peggy, thank you, thank you, thank you!

    The catalog has arrived, and it's exactly as I remembered!

    I opened the box & started looking through the catalog, then I had to leave it for a minute... Next thing I knew, my DD had absconded with it! She is positively intrigued with all the "cool old stuff" Sears used to sell. (I am fortunate that DD is one of those odd, "old soul" millennials who actually loves - and appreciates - old stuff! Her younger brother? Hmmm... Not so much!)

    Anyway, I will be taking it back from her, so I can finish pawing through it myself. I may even have to use it for reference one of these days!

    Thank you again, Peggy. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

    Cheryl - You are so very welcome!!! :happy::happy::happy:

    I am glad it has found a good home & will actually be used if only for the sheer pleasure of looking. Anything is better than being shoved into some box somewhere in the garage. ;):p:D:D

    Here's to many enjoyable hours of sitting & looking!!!
