Same scene by 5 artists old Oil on Board

  1. Hi all again. I have such great luck here twice before that i wanted to post this new piece I just got. It's an oil on board, not sure of it's aga, but seems old to me. There is a very very light signature I can't make out in upper left of it maybe ending in ERT. It's on an angle in the pic here. hard to see it, but once you do make it out, it's clear. Can anyone identify this painting and also why 5 other artists would paint the same scene. Judging by the known values of the artists, it can't be a common antique reproduction method. I don't know anything else about it at all. It's about 10 1/2" X 9 3/4" 54.jpg 55.jpg 56.jpg

    Please show a clear, sharp close up of the label on the back and the signature.

    And tell us please how you know that five other artists have painted the same scene.
