I found this at my local thrift store yesterday. It's a sign? Plaque? for Rutgers University, but the back is stamped Chevron Products & also has a 1964 date - was there Chevron gas stations then?
It also says 'Sculptratomed' ? Has anyone heard of that?
    Thank you for any help!

The Chevron brand comes from the Standard Oil Company of California (Socal) merger with Gulf Oil in 1985. Therefore, your item is unlikely to have an oil and gas association.

I suspect Chevron Products was a company that made souvenir and advertising wares, etc. Google was no help on that though. Searching sculptraform only brings up some dental implant filler stuff, LOL. Was likely a type of embossing process.
