Russian Folk Tale Painting

    I am almost certain that the painting depicts a scene from a Russian fairy tale but not sure which one. Any idea?

    Just did a quick search, and I think the name of the fairy tale might be The Scarlet Flower, a version of Beauty and the Beast.
