I recently purchased this in an online auction advertised as "Oriental
possibly Thai", although it is clearly marked Royal Worcester and I believe it's from their Persian range.
It's pre-1891 but I can't tell if there are any date letters under the circle as there's a sticker, stuck tightly on there.
It's quite big (34cm high) and exquisitely gilded, with reticulated neck and handles. I have been unable to find anything quite like it online, and due to it's size, age, and apparent rarity, and the knowledge that reticulated Worcester can be fairly valuable, I sent pictures off to Christies only to be told it "does not appear to fall into a property category or value level that Christie's currently handles for sale". What are your thoughts?

Thank you so much Steven. I searched and searched on that shape number with no luck. Usually you can find the Worthpoint ones on Ebay so I'll have a look.

That piece sold for $175 which seems under the money. Your vase is beautiful. Good luck.

Oh dear, that's a lot less than I thought. No wonder their response! Not what you see in the Carters or Millers books or on the Antiques Roadshow. Thanks Steven

Might take a look at Charles Baldwyn. It's beautiful, but not in the Christie's or Sotheby's price class.

It's blush ivory. I'd suggest emailing Philip Serrell at https://www.serrell.com/, he's a wizard on Worcester. There's an RD number under the gunk.

    Carters and Millers are nonsense.

@Dory64 - It is a beautiful vase! Unfortunately, it is also one of the things that have fallen out of favor along with tens of thousands of other beautiful pieces of porcelain, glassware & pottery. :(:(:( :arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh:

I just love blush ivory and have a collection of jugs and vases. I'm not too concerned about the value of them, but of course, always hoping I'll find that special and valuable piece.
