Royal Delft Charger - Old Master Painting

Hello !

I'm in the process of acquiring this large Royal Delft (De Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles) charger. According to my research, the date letters suggest 1967 as the year of manufacture.

My problem is - I'm embarassed to say - is that my knowledge of old master paintings is woefully limited .

My question is - Are there any experts out there who might be able to suggest from which (presumably Dutch) painting the depicted character originates ?

Not sure whether I should have posted this under the 'Art' section instead !

Usually these are signed on the painting "naar" something with naar meaning like or after so usually the second word is the original painter.

I think the artist initials on the back of your piece might be for C. J (Kees) Bak but don't know personally. This is from Van Hook's book Discovering Dutch Delftware
