Royal Copenhagen Ash Tray Help..

    IMG_0358 copy.jpg IMG_0359 copy.jpg Could somebody please tell me more about this item please, I believe it is an ash tray from Royal Copenhagen. Dated between 1969-83.

    Anybody know of its value? I can't find any others anywhere on the internet..

    I don't think it is an ashtray, I think it's a plate. HOWEVER after searching everything I could think of in both ashtrays and dinnerware, I can not find a match for the pattern.

    Hi,
    That dot after the end N in Copenhagen is the date code for the year of manufacture. I can not find my copy of the codes at the minute.

    An image search says it's Hans Christian Andersen's "The Swineherd." Maybe a coaster? Or just part of a set of small plates for display--they did a lot of those, but I didn't find a single one made on the same blank.
