Rothenburg Watercolor Artist ID?

My thrift store find this morning. i thought it was a print but turns out to be a watercolor. Any help with the artist would be appreciated.

OK so i found this faded stamp on the back.. maybe a clue. Or not. I can't make it out either.

 

To my eye, reads "Paul Roos."

What ever it is it is also on the flower logo above. maybe the framer or studio? There is a sticker on it also but it only pertains to the anti reflective glass and that it was Swiss made.

 

The surname "Roos" does mean rose.

Someone take a stab at the artist signature. haha

 

The stamp actualy says "PAUL ROUS Vergoldermeister Kaiserslautern".

"Vergoldermeister" meaning gilder, but probably in this case working more generally as a framer.

I found a few listing on dbay with his mark and address
When i did a search on the address i came up with
Paul Roos Kunsthandlung. maybe the same i don't know.

Boy, I bet there are 1,000s of paintings, watercolors, sketches of the Rothenburg ob der Tauber's clock tower with a city gate. This town in Bavaria is quite a tourist stop. I haven't had any luck deciphering the artist sig.

As said above, looks like either Paul or Raul Roos........

 

I know that, But we were talking about the signature on the actual painting.

 

I hate to say it, but we have five or six pictures like this that we picked up in various countries from street artists when we traveled.

 

Has been fun trying though.
I received an answer from Witherell's Auction house

"Thank you for your inquiry. Our specialists have reviewed your item and they were also unable to decipher the artist's signature."
