Rose Medallion Plates

    Hi friends,

    I'm hoping some of you can help with dating these. I tried finding the marks on the back of these on Gotheborg but didn't see any exact matches. Also, there was a Hong Kong tag on one when I got them if that helps.

    Plate # 1:

    I think maybe 1930s to 1950s. But the plate is quite shiny and clean, so it may be more modern. The characters in the stamp appear thick & waxy, like I've seen on seals. It has nice stamp color variations (especially the darker hues) that seem to indicate a period piece.

    Plate # 2
    More of an orange-colored than red stamp. Looks like an "88" in the first mark on the stamp. 1988?
