Romweber Stenographer desk

    Hello folks,
    I have a Romweber Stenographer desk and it has a side bar that is supposed to slide out and raise somehow and lock in, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to work it. And there is nothing online about a stenographer's desk from Romweber. Has anybody ever seen one of these desks and could they tell me how to work the shelf???

    Hi Janet. Would be a lot better if you sent us some pictures of your desk and the working parts you are interested in. Use your phone and then email them to yourself as size medium. Upload them here and be sure to use the "Insert as Full Image" when you post them. I expect there is an armature that is tucked away somewhere like under the shelf or on the side.
