    Hello Again,

Got this one today of a Roller Hockey Team.

Was wondering what people thought might CPPC stand for?

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

My boyfriend played hockey...I will have to show him this pic when he wakes up. Its funny how unpadded they were way back in the day :) Also your not a true hockey player until you have lost a couple of teeth ;)

My BF just looked at the pic and thinks its either Russian or Czech? He said to look up old Olympic teams.

Field hockey on roller skates? :jawdrop: That would be rough!

Messi's link to the Manhattan league does say that in the beginning they used either ball or puck.

I have a friend who runs the Roller Derby Museum in NYC. Even though this isn't Roller Derby, the folks who belong to the museum have a lot of knowledge about early skating. I'll run this by them and see what they think.

First and foremost, thank you for all of the replies!

Early Hockey was played with ball or stick.... and not always played on ice. This is basically a form of "Roller" hockey that was developed.

I'm still not sure exactly what CPPC stands for even though I've been researching over and over.

Thank you so much for the links & the team effort on here! Really appreciate it!

Haha Hey I can never be sure. Some of the stuff I see in images are things my eyes "want" me to see lol
