    I thought it might be graphite when I saw it but it doesnt leave leave trace.
    It looked cool so I bought it anyway.
    Any Idea what it is?

    Mica is a first possibility. Mica schist.

    (Jeez... 5 other posts before the pics even loaded on my 'puter.)

    Does it crumble easily?

    I think mica because of the plate-like laminar structure, and schist because it's so broken up. I don't think you will find this structure in galena or pyrite.
