Two plain rings linked together with the hallmark on the outside. A diamond shape enclosing what looks like an S/a at the top, B.A in the centre and a leaf at the bottom. Only leaves I can find are Netherlands and google keeps bringing me back to Denmark. Any thoughts please?
    Thanks for looking :)

Very green, leafy country, The Netherlands.:playful:

It is a French maker's mark. It isn't on the 925-1000 French makers pages.:( @kyratango used to know of a brilliant site, but it has shut down since then.
Maybe @DragonflyWink recognizes it, or our brilliant sleuth @i need help can find it.:)

Thanks AJ, that's a good start. Which part tells you it is french?, the leaf?

    The lozenge shape.:)
The leaf is part of the maker's ID.

Ok, Thanks. At least it wasn't just me being blind that I couldn't find it. It's of little relevance to the ring but I get frustrated when I can't find out what it all means.

    You can search symbols
    Leaf is feuille
I didn’t see it so far
Might also be a Feather, plume.
I didn’t see it on guesses of the letters, either.

EDIT: OK YEP....It's a LEAF!!!! Enlarged.... Looks like "Sta", B ? A, the Leaf, and below a couple of letters Aa, then LM......

I read Ste above the B.A, short for société, aka company:)
The symbol is either a leaf or a feather (plume), @Any Jewelry I first saw lips too:wideyed::hilarious:
The site who had a very good list of french maker’s marks was vienslechercher.com and doesn’t exist anymore:bigtears:
I hate searching for our French maker’s marks, so frustrating....

Is it unusual that it doesn't have 925 on it?. Or could it be plate?. Looks and tests ok but I'm not filing it to get deeper.
Edit- think I may have answered my own question that the diamond denotes silver? What fineness though?. Does this hallmark set up date the ring if we can't identify the maker?

    It is not a hallmark:facepalm:
French maker’s marks on jewellery are always in this diamond/lozenge shape:) no matters if silver or gold...
925 is not a mark used on French made silver... Our hallmarks (very tiny!!!) for silver are a boar’s head or a crab, depending if assayed in Paris or provinces, bigger pieces bear the Minerva head.
Check carefully all over your ring, usually if a piece bears a maker’s mark, it will have the hallmark too! The hallmark is so tiny you could think it is a ding!

Found it! You weren’t exaggerating when you said tiny. Sadly it’s on the outside so very rubbed but it is there. There are two stamps I can make out. The left one is nearly gone and the right is very vague. Had a look at the french marks but I’m none the wiser:bookworm:

I'll let you in on a secret, it is actually a face. The B and A are the eyes, the dot is the nose, and then there are those luscious lips...:joyful:
