Reversed painting Brown University, first I did not go here second I don’t know why I like it I just do l it measures 15” X 9.75 Inches looking for any information and as always I love to hear your opinion And I can’t find a signature and I can’t find a signature

 

One can find a series of these university reverse paintings on the internet, all in the same frames. From the description of one: "The Eglomaise company produced many college and university reversed hand painted scenes in the 1970's till about 2000."

Just a thought, I think what's in the 'dirt road' at the bottom may be or have something to with a signature.....I blew it up looking for one, and it's interesting what's visible.....looks like it could be sort of a first name (maybe Edwards??), but after that, what animal could that be with a single like tusk, and behind that, a helicopter, and below & behind that, a tiny weasel.....at least, that's what I'm seeing.....and NO, I don't do hallucinatory drugs!!!!

These were made for grads and often given as a retirement gift if one worked for the University. Fortunately there are lots of Brown alumni out there as someone else said.
