Reverse painted? Asian panels x 12 what are they?

    My favorite thrift had these for $1.00 each today so i bought all 12.
    I am not sure what they are for because they don't look like pictures for hanging on the wall or something with stands that are obviously missing?
    The frames are a hard black plastic and the panels are 6" x 4" glass
    that is painted or transferred on one side, but i am not sure if it is reverse?
    The last two pictures show both ways shiny side then painted side

    Parts of lamp shades or light fixture panels, maybe? Chinese restaurant type of thing?
