These are not the items I bought. These are the items I felt that I should research little more. These are the unusual items that I couldn't readily identify the makers. I'm sure a few of these may be studio pieces which would be nearly impossible to identify. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I have a squat vase with a very similar design as the next to last item - the blue vase. It was made in Spain, as I recall, and I bought it in 1999.

Oops, you added more pictures. Next to last in the previous post.

That spur has me wondering. I don't think it's old, but it would be great for using on the backsides of misbehaving children.(LOL) That hand painted blue and yellow vase looks like it's Greek. The two tone 80s whatsit is an 80s whatsit.

The mask is intriguing. I've actually attempted to research it before and couldn't find anything. It's described as Mexican, but I'm thinking that may be incorrect. It's made of red clay and the slip decoration and cobalt are fired on like American stoneware. It's much heavier than the red terra cotta type pottery I see from Mexico. The style similar to some of the pieces produced by Anna Pottery.

Next time you post a large number of items it would help to have a reference number in each photo, and maybe a ruler if there's no other size reference.

Personally I think there's only two pieces I find interesting enough to consider purchasing - the German candlestick and the unmarked drip glaze vase. I'm not impressed with the oriental pieces. The mask is intriguing but probably not worth putting too much effort into (and I think it's probably overpriced). If the mask is heavy it might even be a studio piece. There is an outside chance that the amber owl might be Blenko but I'd want to verify that before purchasing. Even if it is Blenko I might hesitate. Hope this is helpful!

I agree with Don. I think the mask is a student pottery deal, though I do kinda like it. The rest is just meh, though pretty enough.

You took photos of pieces you didn't buy? Did you ask permission before shooting them? Just asking because I sell as shows and fleas and if anon starts taking a shot without asking me I stop them, they should ask me first.

Realistically, the sellers researched the hell out of this stuff before determining it was worthless shop fillers

If they're in a thrift, maybe not. On the other hand, none of it makes my spidey senses tingle.

The one pink with drippy green glaze with the hole in it. The craved in mark on the bottom screams hobbyist piece and the colors screams 80's.
