Repulsive Old Doll's Chaise Lounge - how old and can I throw it out?

This thing was brought home to me the other day by DD - long story. For some reason I found it so repulsive I almost immediately threw it out. Then I took a better look and thought it might be really old and perhaps I should ask first.
It has been reupholstered at some point - I can see the square holes where the old nails were. It has horse hair stuffing. It is about 14" long. I know antique doll furniture sells for good money, but what about this?

Oh my! I should think someone would want that!
    eBidet maybe???
Worth a shot I'd think unless someone here has other, better ideas.
Are there specialty auctions for dolls and dollhouses and furniture?

Gout stools don't have backs to them. :)

Since it's small....is that a gout stool sample then?

Not much to merit this in this condition. The only redeeming features are the feet and just barely so. To me, it would not be worth messing with but would donate it rather than trash it. Of course, the thrift store might just trash it anyway so you have my permission ;)

Better yet, offer it for free here to see if someone wants it for the shipping cost.

I, who don't need another thing in my house no matter how small, would take it & recover it.

I would have to agree with komokwa here and I think your description of repulsive was perfect.

This thing would give me nightmares. :nailbiting::nailbiting:

I don't know why but I find it really creepy. I think I just felt a cat walk over my grave looking at it. :) ;)

    Ha ha ha Kaspers.
Well whoever wins it on the giveaway thread will have to show us how nice it looks when they fix it up.
