    As the maker or owner is British as marked, then the British term Burr Walnut can be used rather than the American Burl.

    Raymond would be so proud :hilarious::hilarious:

    The locks are Joseph Bramah, a Yorkshire locksmith, so definitely Burr

    I didn't know the term burl was American? and yes eeeeup Bramah was from up North or as far as I'm concerned down South lol I was born in Wallsend

    Lovely Davenport, but as an aside, I bought a tb303, tr606 and an mc202 NEW forty years ago. No they are gone. :hilarious:
