Was wondering what anyone could tell me about this, history, value, etc.
It is made by the Italian company Unoaerre of Arezzo, with stamps 925, 1AR, and UNO-A-ERRE. I believe it is a silver relief plaque with a frame, however I am not sure.
The plaque depicts a woman with a halo praying, it may be the virgin Mary but again not sure. The whole thing including the frame is about an 3cm high and 2 wide.
Unfortunately I cannot upload any photos as the uploader is not working properly, but im hoping someone may know something just from this? Thank you :)

Thanks, Dan. It was made between 1944 and 1968. 925 is the silver fineness, it is also known as sterling silver. That makes me think it is more towards the end of the time frame.
You have already identified the manufacturer, and it is nice quality.

She is modelled after a Renaissance painting, can't remember which, but someone else can. @Debora will know.:)

The Renaissance painting I believe is Madonna (Virgin Mary) by Filippo Lippi if this helps again :)

    Good one.:)
One of those firms that kept using the old mark a bit longer?
It does, and it is she.:)

I noted that the footnotes regarding the law changes in early 1968 and late 1970 apparently both covered the switch, so the firm may have simply delayed the change on their goods.
