Red table

Hello all. I bought this table awhile ago, paid $20 for it. It has no legs but I thought it was cool. Has anyone ever seen one like this?

the leg settings are...unusual!

 

You don't provide any dimensions, and the photos are cropped so tightly it is hard to get the full picture, but it looks somewhat similar to this one -

It looks like the top of a zataku.

Thank you for that, I had no idea what I was looking at. To me it looked like the sides of the tabletop were raised, like a blobby rim.

 

Here's something Christie's was selling. Kinda the same idea.

Ahh, I always seem to forget to include one pertinent detail anytime I post, sorry about that. It measures 41"L and about 22" W and no height due to it having no legs, but the wood itself is around an inch thick.

 

I agree. I've tried to picture it in my head with tall legs but it never looks right.
