Hello all. I bought this table awhile ago, paid $20 for it. It has no legs but I thought it was cool. Has anyone ever seen one like this? IMG_20240428_065422096.jpg IMG_20240428_065430722.jpg IMG_20240428_065516843.jpg IMG_20240428_065539104.jpg

It looks like the top of a zataku.

Thank you for that, I had no idea what I was looking at. To me it looked like the sides of the tabletop were raised, like a blobby rim.

Here's something Christie's was selling. Kinda the same idea.

Ahh, I always seem to forget to include one pertinent detail anytime I post, sorry about that. It measures 41"L and about 22" W and no height due to it having no legs, but the wood itself is around an inch thick.

I agree. I've tried to picture it in my head with tall legs but it never looks right.
