Trying to figure if it is old or made to look like. The body is quite coarse and rough. There is a bunch of excessive clay on the inside but I don't understand why it was not cleaned up. Maybe it was made just for decoration?
So, I don't know. Maybe studio pottery?
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks

My somewhat educated guess...modern, decorative, imported.

I agree and I would call this a red iron glaze
