Bought this for $10 and thought why not... I can't really tell if this is dyed or real turquoise? It has pyrite inclusions on most of the pieces. Unfortunately it appears one piece is cracked but still solid. A nice bracelet but I would love to know what kind of turquoise it may be if it isn't dyed that is!

No one can tell from a photo, dyed and stabilized turquoise has been around for more than 50 years.

I'd have figured chrysocolla. They're real stone of course; I'd have bought it for the beads.

Very nice beads, probably Chinese. They are probably stabilized without dye, so the natural colours, but 'fortified' (like port wine :wacky:).
It could be a mix of chrysocolla beads and turquoise beads. Chrysocolla can also have pyrite inclusions.

Certainly possible. Nothing high grade crazy money anyway.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

What is the length of the bracelet? It looks small, but if the beads are large that may be an illusion.

The bracelet is about 6 inches long, I need an extender to be able to wear it!
