Hello all my name is Jay,

I am new here well new to thread posting and forums in general so please forgive me if I am doing this incorrectly. I would also appreciate any feedback as to forum etiquette. Back to the question at hand I’m looking for information on this Quimper pottery piece that I have had for a while. I would like to know the date or time frame that it was produced? I was told it was from the 80s but I’m not sure. C.G. is this a artist initials and who that artist is also 480? Is that a pattern number?

Made after 1984. It was made by "SOCIETE NOUVELLE DES FAIENCERIES DE QUIMPER" --a group of American investors who bought the rights to make the pottery. It's a bit more complicated than that but it's now back in French ownership using different marks.

This style of serving dish with what appears to be 3 separate sections is usually referred to as a relish dish for serving pickles, olives, etc.
