The auction closes soon and I would just like to know what I'm missing on.
Do you think this sort of candelabras are valuable?

Age? Where were these sorts of things used?

There are two of them and they are 1 meter or 43 inches tall each.

Church maybe and I'd be surprised if they had much value though they are cool.

That's about a 4" difference, which doesn't matter I guess unless it has to fit somewhere.

They look like they were stored in a wet basement or, worse, purposely rusted to age them.

They might have been from a funeral home too. Not a home, anyway. The design is cool. If you like them and the price is right, buy them.

The seller says he found them in the attic of an old house.

The candelabra looks so eerie and nicely melancholic in its way.

The price is currently at 160$ per one candelabra + shipping..

    What should I do?

OH... and what do you think the material is? Cast iron?

Cast iron and....$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Not for me............
Can't imagine the price, even for both but if you like them, for yourself, offer then.

By now you either won or lost. If you lost I will say good for you. If you won I'd say good luck.

Fairly recent cast iron thing, 2nd photo shows that the casting wasn't cleaned up to retail sales standards. All that and the monumental size limit their potential resale price to something in two figures if you find a customer at all. IOW, IMO, sorry to say,...... Junk.
