My client says she has a lot of these. She didn't send an image. It looks like people do buy them. But how would you ship them? Do they have to lie flat?

    As always, many thanks!

Loosely rolled up & shipped in a tube if it is never been folded. If it is all wrinkled & has been folded then I would put it in a plastic bag & ship it in an manila envelope.

Thank you, Peggy. Hers are wrinkled. Would you be folding it then?

New question. Would you offer them individually or in lots of two or more? Also, might you know a fair price for just one wrinkled one? I haven't sold in a while, and often like to start at .99 (or 9.99) and let bidding drive the price up. Might I be better off with a set price in this case?

You could probably still roll it up & use a tube or small flat box. I guess as long as you state up front how it will be shipped the buyer can ask for a different method if they prefer.

It looks like it depends on the design & condition, so you may want to see what she sends to you. Than try to see how that particular design sells.

They're in pretty rough shape. Do you think they're still saleable?

I agree the material is pretty wrinkled, but collectors want the graphics on these old cloth sacks, which still look pretty sharp. I think it is going to come down to when was this particular sack used. I checked out completed sales & one sold for $50.00, but most sold for $15.00 & under. There were several different styles of graphics listed & I am assuming the $50.00 was the oldest BWDIK.

You are just going to have to decide if it is worth your time to list these for someone else. This is also why I don't do consignment sales. Many times the item is only worth a small amount & I can make more by selling my own stuff. JMHO

Your humble opinion is much appreciated, Peggy.

    New question: "BWDIK?"
