Question Re: Craftsman Wood Carving Tool

    Hi guys,

    I have this Craftsman wood carving tool and see that the imprint on the handle says Craftsman BF Japan. I am a bit confused about this because Craftsman is an American company so why does it say "BF Japan"? Is this tool made in the USA or Japan?

    Supposedly the JAPAN tools are/were every bit as good and are covered by the same Craftsman warranty as the USA made tools.
