Question about mark onLee & Wigfull Sheffield EP Silverplate Basket

    The mark on this basket doesn't have the Ltd. mark so I'm assuming it is prior to 1899 when they started using Ltd. I don't think this is one of the earliest marks because it does not have the anchor mark. I found a couple of pieces on the web that claim this mark was used in the 1880's. Can anyone confirm that? Thank you.

    On the alphabetical list of marks by letters (as opposed ro the "by name" listing shown in your link) the site seems to say that without the anchor was from 1879-1899. So the 80's would work, although the range is wider than that.
