I have a Qing Dynasty famille rose plate. I am trying to find out which period of the Dynasty it is from. I haven’t been able to find any info on this particular plate. I have seen several versions but none have the signature on the front of the plate. Has anyone seen this, or does anyone know anything about it?

    Hello and welcome Sintastica.
For some reason the conversation you sent me didn't have an answer option, but I found your thread, so here I am.
The characters on the face of the plate are not a regular mark. I don't read Chinese, and our Chinese translators haven't been here for a while, so I can't help you there.

The plate looks mid 19th century, a period of conflict in China. Quality control was not a priority at the time. As you said, it is Famille Rose, with some underglaze iron red.
In spite of the flaws in the glaze it is an attractive plate, made in one of the Canton workshops, probably for export to south and southeast Asia.

The inscribed characters are likely the name of the previous owner. It was a common practice.

I think it is a late Qing plate. It has an unofficial Hall mark on the bottom. However, it also has a carved Chinese word "Shen" on the surface of the plate. I thought it probably a plate after "Shen de Tang Zhi" at first glance, but now I think it probably just a word carved by previous owner and warning him/her to be cautious.
