Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

if anyone can identify the coin from just the back.....it's a pin/brooch I've had for years & years, and don't think I posted it earlier! Thanks for any help you can offer.....obviously the back is silver, and the front won't be any help, but I'll post that too since it's nice and I LOVE it!!!!! What can be read says PATRON, then something ending in NG after the left side of the clasp, then 1783 X S.MARIA DEI and a B (I think) encircled at the bottom....DON'T know if there's anything under the right side of the pin! ANY help most appreciated...as ALWAYS!!! Thank you again!!!!

Think this is a typo on the part of the web page. Surely it's MATER DEI?

Yes, it is mater. It was a typo on the original Hungarian site.;)

They didn't know Raphael's painting either. If they did, they could have posted the title, instead of M(r)ater Dei.

There is what is probably the medallist's mark at 6 o'clock on the un-enameled side. (I'm not sure which side is obverse & which is reverse.) Looks like maybe P.?

OH MY Goodness!!!!!!!!! Thank YOU SO MUCH @Kronos & @Any Jewelry!!!!!!!!! You have NO idea how long I've wondered what the other side was or looked like!!! Value as a coin I realize is gone, But I have NO INTENTION of ever selling it!!! Someday, it will be passed on to one of my nieces, but not until I'm gone!
    THANK YOU~~~THANK YOU~~~THANK YOU ALL!

    AND I couldn't decide if that was a P or B either, so I went with 'B'!!
