Featured Pretty Faience Bowl Mark

    I bought this bowl on eBay. I’ve not got it yet. It’s a pretty piece decorated with birds and flowers and impressed EG. It could be FG but I’m pretty sure it’s EG

    The only faience maker I’ve found that used an impressed EG is Emile Galle who started with pottery before moving to his more celebrated glass. However , while I can find printed marks I’ve not been able to find any examples of impressed marks for comparison.

    It’s unlikely to be Galle but any help would be welcome.

    Interesting. That's a very Japanese style with that chrome yellow and cherry bloosom.
