Hi, can anyone tell me anything about this?

    It measures about 11" x 5" x 1 1/2" tall.

    Thanks!

Nice piece. I don't think it's very new, but I'd need to see closeups of the cutwork in the back.

I'm bothered by that weird front paw. You don't usually see odd anatomical features in older items. I've never seen this design so hopefully someone who is a REAL expert and not just a glass lover will come along with more info.

Yeah, I looked and looked through Google images and couldn't find anything like this one. And, that leg bothers me, too.

    Thanks for trying!

Some artists can't do feet. (Or hands) I have a favorite that I can always ID that way!

This piece looks all pressed to me. The intaglio dog may be designed to fit this and smaller pieces such as the ash trays or salts that had intaglio figures and were made in Czech, Italy and elsewhere. I do not recall any EAPG era with this design.

Yes, it is all pressed glass. And, yes, I think you're right that it probably isn't early American. I appreciate the help all!
