Pressed glass pitcher

    maybe the glass is just dusty and the odd angle doesn't reveal the star motif very clearly. fortunately there aren't too many square cruets...

    Oddly enough, I just saw its twin brother locally in a charity thrift. They wanted about the same for it.

    Is this one of those pieces made upside down and the bottom closed by hand? (Darned if I can think of the word for it.)

    "Cut Shut" There is excess glass after the plunger is removed which is tooled over to close and any unneeded cut off thus the name
