Identification on this bowl? Stands 2 3/4" high and measures about 4 3/4" across.

Check Fostoria #1630 Alexis for the glass. Cutting no idea.

Fostoria's Alexis pieces that I've found have a hex base and clearly defined panels with sharp angles of the double lines at the top; there are 2 raised glass 'lines' with a clear band above. Not sure what this piece is, possibly elegant glass?

Thanks for looking! Is there any glass that doesn't have the Hughes Cornflower cut?

I thought I knew this one, was sure I've had it before. Guess I was wrong. The feet in particular looked familiar.

Imperial #588 Pie Crust. Lemski shows the glass in his book "Elegant Glass with Cornflower". Thanks for tallcakes finding the cornflower cutting sent me to that book. This cutting is not cornflower.

good catch George; didn't think to check the Imperial catalog. There are 4 pieces in catalog "E" as 5889/99 with alpha codes for the shape but this specific bowl isn't included.

I have not found the specific bowl but the other items shown in Lemski give me confidence. The other less is the fallibility of Replacements for ids. They not to bbe showing Libbey stem 3005 for some reason. You can access it through google search but not through the pattern lists on the store site.

That's useful, thank you. That in-curved shape is reminiscent of a rose or ivy bowl. I call those little tab things feet, but see where others have been calling them toes. The problem with saying 3 feet is you don't want some idjit thinking it's a measurement.
