I have a prescut scalloped bowl. Dimensions are about 8" top dia. x 3 7/8" bottom dia. x 3 1/2" tall at the highest vertex. I would like some help identifying the pattern. Thank you. Rob

What are you talking about spam posting? I tried to find this on replacements.com and ebay and could not find it. Rob

    It's a starburst design.

Here's a similar design. That said, it is a little hard to see what is in the centre of the starburst in your image... as that part can vary from 'no pattern' 'another pointed star' 'a wheel of straight lines" etc... which indicates various specific starburst designs.

Here are a couple more pictures showing the bottom of mine. Hope these are clearer. Thank you. Rob

You might be onto something. Maybe I made a wrong assumption that because it says Prescut it is not America Prescut as I thought. I will keep looking at the lead you provided me. Thank you. Rob

We get spammers on these boards. They post irrelevant stuff to ongoing threads. The mods remove those posts once they are reported, but it leaves references to spam in the thread. Nothing to do with the original content.

Another question... does your item glow under black light?

Rob, a new member posted some nasty spam to your thread. I reported it & then mentioned it so that others would know that they didn't need to also report it. Had absolutely nothing to do with your bowl & questions.

    Hi Rob,
It was me that reported the spam which some asshole posted on your item. I forget that new members do not know about the spammers. Sorry if I confused you.

didn't notice in OP that the piece was marked PRESCUT, which was a McKee trademark. McKee did mark many of their 'Tec' line patterns with their PRESCUT mark. Many of the 'Tec' patterns were reproduced by Kemple, Smith and Fenton; so black light testing might be an indicator for reproductions. Tho' I'm not aware of any of the reproduction having kept the PRESCUT marks.
