Are these anyone in particular? they appear to be quite old just not sure how old, made of white metal. Happy to follow any leads you may have! Thanks! There are no marks found anywhere.

    Hi,
They are cute although I find them a bit strange. Those eyes remind me of those British movies "village of the damned" or such.. They are spleter

This is only a wild-eyed guess but . . . I wonder if they represent some young kids/children who were popular in the 1920s or 1930s (or maybe even a bit later) either in a comic strip or in an old short-subject movie or maybe even in an old cartoon or comic book of that time period. I relate them to something like the old "Our Gang" ("The Little Rascals" with "Spanky") short-subject movies. I "think" the hat/cap on the little boy was/is called a "newsboy" cap/hat.

I can imagine them being favorite lamps in a child's room back then.;)

Once upon a time I listed something for sale on ebay and called it spelter, they ended my listing for using a brand name... =/

    Use pot metal.

As for the lamps, just another reason to turn the lights out. If I were a kid I wouldn't want them looking at me!;):)

I think that they must've been cold-painted originally. But yeah, the styling looks 1920s/30s.
