Also posted this on eBay's board, but thought one of you may know.

Have a set of this, and have no idea where to start looking. The backs are unmarked.

    This is a bread plate, I think, measures about 5 3/4" x 5 3/4".

A kind poster over there suggested W.S. George, but their Lido shape is the closest, but not exactly this.

    Any ideas on this? TIA!

    Hi Happy,
I am not near my books but try T.S.T. looks like the thing that you bought piecemeal at the supermarket.

Not finding it under TST, but Janet on the eBay board said Mount Clemens, Oxford Shape and that seems right. Had never heard of MC.

Cannot seem to find a pattern name though.

    Hi,
A lot of companies did not have pattern names and used numbers and a lot of patterns were named but lost until the names are found in old trade catalogs. The decals were supplied by outside contractors and sold to many different pottery companies.
The companies used them different ways. What I am saying is your plate may never had a name and just used as "give aways". That happens a lot to pieces without a mark on the bottom. The jobbers did not want you to know who made the pieces so they were not marked.

I see, Greg, like a giveaway in oatmeal boxes, I guess. Glad to know, this batch goes to a live auction then.
