    This is clearly signed, but I'm not sure which Rich James did it as a few studios are coming up.

    Any help would be appreciated. Thx

    my 1st thought too ! Studio pottery is notoriously difficult to id.There were and are millions of potters working out there. I was into studio pottery for a bit.Theres really nothing special about this piece that I can tell. Im not criticizing ,just my thought.

    I thought it might actually say something else, because who puts 4 humps in an "m", but I gave up.

    There is a Studio Pottery group on Facebook that might be able to help. They will want to know where you found it. Studio pottery is often found close to where it was made.

    Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

    Funny that the word "opus" is on it, followed by a number. That intrigues me -- but doesn't help to find the potter.
