Pottery Plate With Blue Orange Peel Like Glaze

    It looks a lot like studio pottery to me.

    Thanks for the replies. Checked Bybee. Good possibility but I also think it could be a studio piece. I would expect some kind of signature but unfortunatelly none. I have not seen such a bottom before. Is it typical for American pottery or could be of another origin?

    It doesn't look like Bybee clay ImHO.

    Isn't the clay in this plate red/brown? If so, that would rule out Zanesville or Peters and Reed. I am not familiar enough with Waco to know if they ever used darker clays.
