Pottery mark identification sun and snakes

Hi! I know nothing about pottery marks but have recently come across this mark, and cannot find it on the internet anywhere! Would love if someone could identify it! From what I can tell its a sun with two cobra snakes on either side.

Very cool crock-can you decipher the stamping on the shoulder ? It looks like a food storage jar.

 

I’d think the stamp relates to who it was made for.

 

unfortunately not, we think it says ‘potter’ but its very faint
