Hello! I'm brand new here, looking for some help identifying a couple of green bowls passed down to me from my husband's side of the family.

I've searched Google only to find these bowls were sometimes in a nesting set. My TWO bowls are identical in every way except for glazed indentations around the rim of one of them. The glaze is an iridescent green.

I appreciate your pottery knowledge! Thank you!

    Hi Cassidy! Welcome to Antiquers.

In my Watt pottery book, your bowls are listed in a 1935-mid 1940's chapter.

Your bowls are shown with and without the indent.

My grandmother had one of those. Sacred to pancake makings. (There was a big pitcher with a moose or some such, for waffles)

Thank you all so much! Are they rare? Should I hold onto them forever?

    Hi,
The memory of being passed down in the family is worth far more than the best price you could get. Keep them in the family the 5 to 10 dollars at the most is all they would bring.

Thank you so much for your specific assistance! I'm thinking I'll spend much time in these forums because I have a thing for glassware and my granny just keeps feeding my obsession with jadeite and milk glass, too! :)

I'm sorry, I just don't see your moon or stars. Mebbe it's the beer.

Hi Terry! I didn't see them at first either. I had to enlarge the photo to see them. My eye went right to the straight lines and stopped!
